entrelac armwarmers and leaf hat…

These wee armwarmers get a whole lotta attention, I think it’s the combo of this super sweet Noro sock yarn and the entrelac pattern.  I only used one skein but it just happened to be perfectly match on the left and right.  Entrelac is probably the coolest way to seamlessly blend a striping yarn, it takes all the work out of switching colours AND you don’t get weird stops and starts since you’re working in blocks.

I made this hat eons ago but I thought it was a perfect example of how adding some embellishments makes a simple crocheted hat ultra rad.  Again using Noro (why must you make such beautiful colour schemes?!!?!?), it’s self striping with a cute little nubbin at the top.  I’m going to use this as an example in my Crochet Embellishments: Butterflies, Flowers and Leaves class in the next couple of months in February and March.
