where are you little spider?

6 Oct

I used to have a huge fear of spiders.  So much so that I would try to kill it from across the room by throwing a phone book at it….it never worked.  These days, they are not so scary but I do love their little intricate webs.

On a rainy trip to Seattle one weekend, we stayed at a lovely little house that felt very much like a quaint cottage.  On their porch was a glistening cobweb as big as a record.

I didn’t want to think about how big the spider was that could make such a big web but the tiny transparent lines were pretty hard for my camera to pick up and focus on.  Thankfully the little raindrops on it gave it a little bit more dimension.

Sometimes the most amazing things that you can see are not permanent.
