melt-in-your-mouth goat cheese and chive biscuits…

These biscuits took less than a half an hour to make from the mixing to straight into my mouth!  I had my doubts that Bisquick was going to deliver light and buttery biscuits but the biscuits turned out amazing and were gone in a day!  I was going to make them plain, but scrounged through my fridge and found a couple of ingredients to add to the batter.  Here’s my recipe for the easiest biscuits ever!

What you need!
2 cups of Bisquick
1/2 cup of water or milk
1/4 cup of green onions chopped
10-20 grams of goat cheese
sea salt

What to do!

1.  Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees.  Measure out the Bisquick and break up any lumps with t a fork.  Add the water/milk slowly while gently mixing.  The dough should be a soft consistency.

2.  Add the chives and break up the goat cheese into the batter and mix in gently.  Do not overwork the dough.

3.  On an ungreased cookie sheet, drop small balls of dough onto the sheet 2″ apart (about 12).

4.  Flatten balls slightly and sprinkle a little bit of sea salt on each one.

5.  Bake for 8-10 minutes or until slightly brown on top.  Eat them plain or add a smear of butter for extra deliciousness!

    Never had much luck with bisquick–always ends up crumbly/dry. Must be the goat cheese that brought the texture to the next level. Make more! And help a brother out with some leftovers! =)
