thrifty cat fashion…

5 Feb

One day I came home and my roommate had dressed my cat Milo.  My adorable (albeit slightly balding) soft grey kitty with pretty green eyes was dressed in a hot pink jersey with SAILOR written on the back with a matching anchor/lifesaver graphic.  I laughed uncontrollable for hours.  My cat is so metro.

But fashion for pets is here to stay, everyone dresses up their dogs, and who knew that Milo would actually LIKE being dressed.  No struggling, it’s been a full two days and he hasn’t even tried to take it off, I blame it on him being too lazy.

So inadvertently I’m doomed to turn into those crazy cat ladies that has outfits for her cat.  This jersey was purchased at Yoyoyaya123 at Tinseltown for a mere $5.  Apparently there’s a raincoat for the same price there too.

Other notable stores include Tiso which carries pet sweaters that can be as cheap as $10.  There are also a bunch of free crochet and knitting patterns online for little critter outfits.

So go ahead, dress ’em up…it’s endless hours of entertainment.

Milo liked wearing his little outfit? Of course you would have an equally fashionable cat to match your fashionable self! Can’t wait to see the little crocheted outfits!
